Para la eliminaci\u00f3n del f\u00f3sforo en las aguas residuales se ha utilizado tradicionalmente procesos de tratamiento f\u00edsico-qu\u00edmicos que generan un elevado coste en reactivos. en este trabajo se ha desarrollado un proceso de tratamiento de aguas residuales en el que el f\u00f3sforo se elimina a trav\u00e9s de un mecanismo biol\u00f3gico, lo que supone un ahorro importante en reactivos. el trabajo consta de las siguiententes partes: en primer lugar se adapt\u00f3 un fango de una fangode una depuradora convencional para la eliminaci\u00f3n biol\u00f3gica de f\u00f3sforo. Posteriormente, se estudi\u00f3 la influencia de la concentraci\u00f3n de materia organica (medida como dqo) sobre el funcionamiento del proceso. &#8211; Mediante respirometria de fangos activos se calcularon los par\u00e1metros cin\u00e9ticos y estequiom\u00e9tricos caracter\u00edsticos delproceso.  por \u00faltimo, se estudi\u00f3 la influencia de la biodegradabilidad del agua residual sobre la eliminaci\u00f3n de f\u00f3sforo, extrapolando los resultados obtenidos en el laboratorio a escala de planta piloto.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
