Roman Faundez <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Esta tesis est\u00e1 dedicada al estudio de sistemas magn\u00e9ticos en materia condensada utilizando diferentes t\u00e9cnicas. En primer lugar hemos estudiado un conjunto de sistemas cuasi-unidimensionales, que en la actualidad generan un gran inter\u00e9s, como son las escaleras de esp\u00edn. Este estudio lo hemos realizado mediante un m\u00e9todo variacional del grupo de renormalizaci\u00f3n desde el punto de vista cu\u00e1ntico.
