Angeles Silva Martinez <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Esta tesis doctoral explora las cicloadiciones tandem (4+2)\/(3+2) de nitroalquenos con \u00e9teres vin\u00edlicos en etanol. Como heterodienos se han utilizado nitroestireno y un nitroalqueno \u00f3pticamente activo derivado de d-galactosa. Las reacciones son regioespec\u00edficas y proceden con una completa diastereoselectividad facial. la estructura de los aductos tandem obtenidos pudo determinarse de forma inequ\u00edvoca mediante difracci\u00f3n de rayos x.  se han efectuado tambi\u00e9n reacciones de tres componentes participando el nitroalqueno, etil vinil \u00e9ster (eve) y un segundo alqueno deficiente de electrones. De esta forma se origina un nitronato intermedio, por reacci\u00f3n selectiva del nitroalqueno con eve, que luego reacciona exlusivamente con el alqueno deficiente en electrones. De nuevo la determinaci\u00f3n estructural pudo efectuarse mediante espectrometr\u00eda de rmn y corroborada de forma inequ\u00edvoca a trav\u00e9s de la difracci\u00f3n de rayos x del aducto obtenido por reacci\u00f3n con acrilonitrilo. la reacci\u00f3n del nitroalqueno quiral con eve y 1,4-benzoquinona permite acceder a un cicloaducto polic\u00edclico que integra dos fragmentos de az\u00facar y de \u00e9ter vin\u00edlico por fragmento de quinona. La apertura selectiva de los cicloaductos en el anillo de seis miembros conduce a az\u00facares elongados.
