Los objetivos de esta tesis han sido la detecci\u00f3n y caracterizaci\u00f3n de la variabilidad biol\u00f3gica debida a ritmos circadianos de 1440 minutos y de 720 minutos de periodo, y la cuantificaci\u00f3n de la variabilidad biologica aleatoria intradiaria de un grupo de 29 magnitudes. Para elo se han realizado 6 extracciones sanguineas a intervalos regulares de 4 horas durante 24 horas a un grupo de 25 individuos presuntamente sanos (12 mujeres y 13 hombres, 24-42 a\u00f1os). a partir de los resultados obtenidos en cada individuo se ha calculado la variabilidad biologica aleatoria expresada como coeficiente de varriaciion biologico. Para el estudio de los ritmos biol\u00f3gicos se ha utilizado el metodo del cosinor y el analisis de fourier. Los resultados del estudio de la variabilidad biologica aleatoria intraindividual han sido muy heterogeneos y la mediana del coeficiente de variacion biologico intraindividual ha oscilado entre el 0% y el 50%. Se ha detectado la presencia de ritmos de 1440 minutos de periodo en la concentraci\u00f3n de leucocitos, neutrofilos, linfocitos, plaquetas, protrombina, activador tisular del plasminogeno, inmunoglobulinas a y m, componentes c4 y b del complemento, transferrina y hierro. Se ha detectado un ritmo de 720 minutos de periodo en la concentracion de inhibidor 1 del activador tisular del plasminogeno. Se ha detectado una funcion ritmica de 1440 minutos y 720 minutos de periodo en la concentracion de eritrocitos, de hemoglobina, la determinacion conjunta de eosinofilos, basofilos y monocitos, la fracci\u00f3n del volumen de los eritrocitos, el \u00abtiempo de tromboplatina parcial activada\u00bb, la antiplasmina y la concentracion de inmunoglobulina g y componente c3 del complemento.
