Con este objetivo, se preparan modelos bic\u00edclicos simples en los que se varia el tama\u00f1o del anillo, la posici\u00f3n del doble enlace generado por met\u00e1tesis y el n\u00famero de ox\u00edgenos presentes. dichos modelos permiten estudiar en detalle la influencia de estos factores sobre la reacci\u00f3n.  en un segundo apartado, se aplica la reacci\u00f3n de met\u00e1tesis a la preparaci\u00f3n de \u00e9teres corona de diferentes tama\u00f1os. El estudio de las propiedades complejantes de los mismos permite obtener conclusiones que se aplican al dise\u00f1o de un modelo de canal para el transporte de cationes a trav\u00e9s de membranas
