En la memoria presentada se ha realizado una amplia revisi\u00f3n bibliogr\u00e1fica sobre la t\u00e9cnica de langmuir-blodgett, que pone de manifiesto su importancia, sus numerosas aplicaciones, el car\u00e1cter multidisciplinar de la misma y el gran n\u00famero de t\u00e9cnicas adicionales necesarias para la comprensi\u00f3n de la qu\u00edmica superficial, la estructura y arquitectura de las pel\u00edculas, as\u00ed como la b\u00fasqueda de las aplicaciones pr\u00e1cticas de \u00e9stas.  durante la realizaci\u00f3n de esta tesis doctoral se ha dise\u00f1ado y construido una cuba de langmuir y se ha elaborado el software necesario para su control automatizado. El trabajo experimental se ha centrado en el estudio de dos grupos de mol\u00e9culas, derivados del tetratiafulvaleno (ttf) y compuestos conteniendo f\u00f3sforo con uno y dos grupos amina.  todas las mol\u00e9culas fueron caracterizadas mediante resonancia magn\u00e9tica nuclear, espectroscop\u00eda ultravioleta-visible, infrarrojos y voltametr\u00eda c\u00edclica, lo cual permiti\u00f3 comprobar la veracidad del proceso de s\u00edntesis y determinar algunas de las propiedades qu\u00edmico-f\u00edsicas m\u00e1s importantes de las mol\u00e9culas para su posterior comparaci\u00f3n con las pel\u00edculas lb.  se buscaron las condiciones experimentales adecuadas para la preparaci\u00f3n de monocapas en la superficie acuosa y se registraron las isotermas de compresi\u00f3n, que aportaron datos sobre la disposici\u00f3n de las mol\u00e9culas en la superficie acuosa, existencia de transiciones de fase, presi\u00f3n de colapso y estabilidad de la monocapa.  estas monocapas fueron transferidas sobre sustratos s\u00f3lidos obteni\u00e9ndose pel\u00edculas lb caracterizadas mediante espectroscop\u00eda ultravioleta-visible, infrarrojos, difracci\u00f3n de rayos x, microscop\u00eda de barrido electr\u00f3nico y voltametr\u00eda c\u00edclica.
