De los 3 m\u00e9todos tratados, el m\u00e9todo de los paquetes de energ\u00eda para la simulaci\u00f3n de la disipaci\u00f3n energ\u00e9tica de una serie s\u00edsmica es original de este trabajo de investigaci\u00f3n. Se ha adaptado el m\u00e9todo de la simulaci\u00f3n condicional geoestad\u00edstica, empleado hasta el presente en otros campos de la geolog\u00eda, para simular la liberaci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda de una serie s\u00edsmica. Tambi\u00e9n se ha adaptado el m\u00e9todo de temporizaci\u00f3n de varnes y bufe, teniendo en cuenta las ideas fundamentales propuestas en el m\u00e9todo de los paquetes de energ\u00eda, para calcular el tiempo de ocurrencia del pr\u00f3ximo terremoto m\u00e1s probable. Estos tres m\u00e9todos se han aplicado a varias series s\u00edsmicas reales, algunas del sureste peninsular (granada y almer\u00eda) y a series de otras partes del mundo (california e islas v\u00edrgenes). Estas series se escogieron por su diversidad en la cantidad de terremotos y en los diferentes niveles de magnitud (desde series con microterremotos a series con terremotos de elevado nivel de energ\u00eda). Se incluye como ejemplo de un caso l\u00edmite, el estudio de una serie s\u00edsmica en tiempo real (serie de granada de junio de 1998), durante sus momentos iniciales en los que a\u00fan se dispon\u00eda de poca cantidad de datos. En las simulaciones efectuadas en todas las series se ha tratado de aplicar estos m\u00e9todos en los casos o momentos m\u00e1s desfavorables (poca cantidad de datos, teniendo en cuenta s\u00f3lo los terremotos a partir de cierto nivel de magnitud, etc.). La serie del mar de albor\u00e1n (1997-1998) tambi\u00e9n se sigui\u00f3 en tiempo real, siendo posible prever, al igual que en la serie anterior, el momento de ocurrencia y magnitud de alguno de sus terremotos.
