Este papel del sistema inmune en la prevenci\u00f3n o eliminaci\u00f3n de tumores establecidos es un fen\u00f3meno reconocido hace a\u00f1os e identificado como inmunovigilancia. Sin embargo, algunos tumores pueden expresar prote\u00ednas antig\u00e9nicas y aunque la inmunovigilancia puede prevenir, limitar y\/o eliminar el crecimiento de algunos tumores, las c\u00e9lulas malignas son capaces de evadir la acci\u00f3n del sistema inmune mediante un proceso conocido como escape tumoral. Los mecanismos responsables son varios entre los que se incluye la p\u00e9rdida de expresi\u00f3n de mol\u00e9culas hla por parte del tumor, la p\u00e9rdida de mol\u00e9culas inductoras de se\u00f1ales coestimuladoras y la supresi\u00f3n directa de la respuesta inmune.  la falta de expresi\u00f3n de mol\u00e9culas hla en la superficie de las c\u00e9lulas tumorales impide la formaci\u00f3n de complejos de ant\u00edgenos pept\u00eddicos tumorales ya procesados con las mol\u00e9culas de clase i, por lo que no pueden ser reconocidos por los linfocitos t citot\u00f3xicos espec\u00edficos, encargados de eliminar las c\u00e9lulas malignas. La p\u00e9rdida de la expresi\u00f3n de mol\u00e9culas hla en los procesos tumorales puede obedecer a m\u00faltiples causas: defectos en los genes que codifican la b-2microglobulina, alteraciones en las prote\u00ednas tap-1 y tap-2, p\u00e9rdida completa de uno de los cromosomas 6, o grandes delecciones del mismo, etc..  se plantea el presente trabajo con objeto de estudiar el fracaso de la inmunizaci\u00f3n con p\u00e9ptidos antig\u00e9nicos mage-1 y mage-3 en dos pacientes diagnosticados de melanoma maligno y tratados con esta terapia antitumoral. Igualmente se pretende establecer las bases moleculares de la p\u00e9rdida de la expresi\u00f3n de mol\u00e9culas hla de calse i en las las l\u00edneas celulares y en los tumores de las que se
