De opiano de anazarbo, poema did\u00e1ctico sobre la pesca y los peces redactado ca. 177-180 d.C., Y de los 2144 hex\u00e1metros de los cynegetica (cyn.) De opiano de apamea (tambien llamado ps.-Opiano), poema did\u00e1ctico sobre la caza y los animales salvajes finalizado ca. 215 d.C.  una revisi\u00f3n de la cuesti\u00f3n biogr\u00e1fica relativa a los opianos y de la bibliograf\u00eda m\u00e1s significativa sobre sus obras, un examen de las aportaciones hechas sobre la m\u00e9trica de los dos poemas, precis\u00e1ndose las razones por las que se haestimado pertinente este estudio m\u00e9trico y, por \u00faltimo, un comentario, desde la \u00f3ptica critico-textual, de las ediciones utilizadas como base, componen la breve a la vez que concisa introducci\u00f3n del trabajo (pp. 8-50). Le sigue el estudio m\u00e9trico propiamente dicho (pp.51-560), articulado en tres amplias secciones, a las queprecede una preliminar en la que se explica el planteamiento general seguido (pp.52-58). Las dos primera secciones (\u00ablos schemata del hex\u00e1metro\u00bb, pp. 59-149, y \u00abhechos prosodico-metricos\u00bb, pp. 150-334) se ocupan del an\u00e1lisis r\u00edtmico y pros\u00f3dico, indispensable en toda investigaci\u00f3n hex\u00e1metrica, por ser clara v\u00eda de acceso a la estructura del verso y a la vez indicador objetivo de los progresos o retrocesos de las t\u00e9cnicas de versificaci\u00f3n de los poetas. La tercera secci\u00f3n (\u00abel final de palabra\u00bb, pp. 335-547) se adentra en la relaci\u00f3n entre verso y l\u00edmite de palabra, compleja como se deduce de una previa revisi\u00f3n cr\u00edtica de las teor\u00edas sobre el final de palabra en el hex\u00e1metro (pp. 335-360). En esta secci\u00f3n se discute, en primer lugar, el concepto de apositiva y se precisa qu\u00e9 palabras han sido consideradas apositivas en los hal. Y los cyn., As\u00ed como cu\u00e1l es su distribucion a lo largo del verso en cada poema (pp. 361-387).
