Luisa <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Debido a la alta preValencia de la infecci\u00f3n por el virus del herpes simple (vhs) y a la importancia que esta enfermedad est\u00e1 adquiriendo en los pacientes inmunocomprometidos, especialmente en aquellos que presentan sida, en los que el vhs, es una de las infecciones oportunistas que causan la muerte de estos pacientes.  por estas razones se hace necesaria la b\u00fasqueda de nuevas terapias contra la infecci\u00f3n herpetica, para lo que un primer paso es el estudio del ciclo del virus. Como consecuencia de este estudio se ha propuesto como posible mecanismo de acci\u00f3n, la inhibici\u00f3n del inicio de la replicaci\u00f3n virica por medio de la inhibici\u00f3n de la interacci\u00f3n que tiene lugar en el primer paso de la replicaci\u00f3n entre la proteina de uni\u00f3n al origen de replicacion (obp) y el adn.  en este trabajo se ha llevado a cabo el dise\u00f1o, de distintas series de compuestos que puedan interaccionar con la obp inhibiendo su interacci\u00f3n con el adn, posteriormente se ha puesto a punto la sintesis de estos derivados, que han sido sometidos a ensayos biol\u00f3gicos en los que se ha determinado la capacidad de los mismos en la inhibici\u00f3n de la obp, su actividad antivirial y la toxicidad.  con el analisis de los resultados obtenidos en los compuestos sintetizados, se ha podido confirmar la hipotesis de partida que propone como mecanismo de acci\u00f3n de la terapia antiherp\u00e9tica, la inhibici\u00f3n de la interacci\u00f3n obp-adn.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral \u00ab<strong>Dise\u00f1o, sintesis y evaluacion preliminar de nuevos antiherpeticos inhibidores de la interaccion obp-adn.<\/strong>\u00ab<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>T\u00edtulo de la tesis:<\/strong>\u00a0 Dise\u00f1o, sintesis y evaluacion preliminar de nuevos antiherpeticos inhibidores de la interaccion obp-adn. <\/li>\n<li><strong>Autor:<\/strong>\u00a0  Alonso Pelaez M.
