Para ello se realizaron registros electrofisiol\u00f3gicos extracelulares e intraceluleres de manera simult\u00e1nea en diferentes regiones encef\u00e1licas: nc, n\u00facleo ventral posterior-lateral tal\u00e1mico (vpl) y corteza sensoriomotora (csm). Tambi\u00e9n se realizaron lesiones electrol\u00edticas en el tracto piramidal (tp) y se elimin\u00f3 por aspiraci\u00f3n la corteza fronto-parietal. Los resultados demuestran que: 1) las neuronas del nc presentan actividad r\u00edtmica espont\u00e1nea, con frecuencias similares a las existentes en las neuronas tal\u00e1micas y corticales; 2) la corteza transmite la actividad oscilatoria, tanto evocada como espont\u00e1nea, al nc a trav\u00e9s del tp; 3) las c\u00e9lulas del nc pueden generar actividad r\u00edtmica con frecuencias de m\u00e1s de 1 hz en ausencia de la corteza fronto-parietal; 4) la csm transmite su actividad oscilatoria a las interneuronas del nc de manera directa, despolariz\u00e1ndolas, y de manera indirecta a las neuronas de proyecci\u00f3n, que dan lugar a una hiperpolarizaci\u00f3n seguida de rebotes de potenciales de acci\u00f3n.  los resultados indican la capacidad que tiene la csm de modificar la
