La exhaustiva caracterizaci\u00f3n ferroel\u00e9ctrica ha confirmado que la temperatura de transici\u00f3n y los valores de los par\u00e1metros ferroel\u00e9ctricos se pueden controlar mediante los valores de los radio i\u00f3nicos promedios de los cationes en posiciones a y b de la perovskita, diferentes en cada compuesto. As\u00edmismo, se ha comprobado que las sustituciones cati\u00f3nicas provocan la aparici\u00f3n de heterogeneidades composicionales que conllevan la aparici\u00f3n de comportamientos de tipo relaxor en el material.  se ha estudiado la aparici\u00f3n de un electrete que acompa\u00f1a a los valores de polarizaci\u00f3n remanente, y que disminuye cuando se realizan sustituciones de la posici\u00f3n del cati\u00f3n bi3+. La caracterizaci\u00f3n piezoel\u00e9ctrica de las muestras confirma a algunas de ellas como susceptibles de ser empleadas como materiales piezoel\u00e9ctricos de alta temperatura.  as\u00edmismo, se ha confirmado que el eje de f\u00e1cil polarizaci\u00f3n se encuentra contenido en el plano formado por los ejes a y b cristalogr\u00e1ficos.  por primera vez se ha constatado la existencia de una transformaci\u00f3n de tipo martens\u00edtico, a temperaturas pr\u00f3ximas a los 300 grados c, que explicar\u00eda la desaparici\u00f3n de un modo blando encontrado por otros autores mediante medidas
