Se ha dise\u00f1ado una \u00abpuerta logica programable\u00bb (plp) opticamente, que ha sido estudiada de manera teorica y, posteriormente, puesta en funcionamiento, de manera experimental, en el laboratorio. Por ultimo se ha hecho una simulacion, mediante ordenador, de su forma de trabajo.  se ha demostrado su posible uso en el campo de las comunicaciones opticas, como oscilador digital y como generador de codigos.  mediante el control de los tiempos de realimentacion y los internos de la propia estructura, se ha conseguido una ruta clara hacia el caos con las conocidas bifurcaciones, y unos datos de las mismas que concuerdan claramente con el numero de feigenbaum.  se ha desarrollado, al mismo tiempo, un metodo de grabacion de hologramas, mediante conduccion de radiacion laser por fibra optica,
