Los objetivos principales eran la obtenci\u00f3n de plomo met\u00e1lico con elevados rendimientos en corriente y buenas propiedades f\u00edsicas. Para ello se realizaron un estudio voltam\u00e9trico y experiencias de dep\u00f3sito en un reactor electroqu\u00edmico escala laboratorio. El cuerpo central de la tesis lo constituye el estudio, desarrollo y optimizaci\u00f3n de electrodos de difusi\u00f3n de hidr\u00f3geno para su utilizaci\u00f3n como \u00e1nodos durante el dep\u00f3sito del metal, en sustituci\u00f3n de los \u00e1nodos dsa-o2 tradicionalmente utilizados en este tipo de procesos. El objetivo de este apartado era disminuir en la mayor medida posible el voltaje de c\u00e9lula y, por ende, el coste el\u00e9ctrico del proceso global. En la \u00faltima parte de la tesis se abord\u00f3 el tratamiento de las aguas residuales procedentes del proceso de electrodep\u00f3sito masivo, para eliminar el plomo que contienen y conseguir un
