La adici\u00f3n de drogas anti-cam a un cultivo de c\u00e9lulas nrk (\u00abnormal rat kidney\u00bb) durante el principio del g1 provoca la inhici\u00f3n de la actividad cdk4 y cdk2 y tambi\u00e9n se encuentra la proteina del retinoblastoma hipofosforilada. Los niveles totales de cdk4, ciclina d1, ciclina d2, cice, p21 y p27 no est\u00e1n afectados por el tratamiento, pero s\u00ed que se observ\u00f3 una disminuci\u00f3n en la cantidad de cica y cdc2.  la disminuci\u00f3n en la actividad de la cdk4 no se debe a un cambio en las prote\u00ednas que se le asocian, ni a un cambio en la cantidad de proteinas inhibidoras unidas al complejo ckd4\/cicd1. La inhibici\u00f3n de la cam provoca una translocaci\u00f3n del nucleo al citoplasma para la cdk4\/cicd1, evitando de este modo que prb se fosforile bajo el efecto de la droga anti-cam.  mediante t\u00e9cnicas de inmunoprecipitaci\u00f3n, columnas de afinidad y \u00abpull down\u00bb se ha demostrado que la cdk4 y la cicd1 se asocian tanto in vivo como in vitro a trav\u00e9s de una proteina aceptora de cam. el hecho de que la hsp90 interactua con la cdk4 in vivo, y que dicha interacci\u00f3n pueda facilitar la translocaci\u00f3n de la cdk4 y la cicd1 al nucleo, hace de la hsp90 una buena candidata para desempe\u00f1ar el papel de cambp en la transcolocaci\u00f3n de la cdk4\/ckcd1 al nucleo. Por otro lado se encontr\u00f3 que la p21 coinmunoprecipitaba con la cam y tambi\u00e9n en sentido contrario, esta interacci\u00f3n se comprob\u00f3 que era directa utilizando \u00abpull down\u00bb. Adem\u00e1s se comprob\u00f3 que la cam era esencial para acumulaci\u00f3n de la p21 en el nucleo.
