El amplio n\u00famero de documentos que habla de lluis borrass\u00e1 y tambi\u00e9n de otros artistas ha permitido un tratamiento de tipo econ\u00f3mico que significa una de las singularidades no s\u00f3lo del fen\u00f3meno borrasiano sino tambi\u00e9n de la pintura g\u00f3tica catalana del pirmer internacional. La valoraci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica de la pintua de lluis borrass\u00e1 y de la de otros pintores coet\u00e1neos ha ratificado el papel destacado que borrass\u00e1 tuvo dentro del panorama art\u00edstico catal\u00e1n. a partir de los resultados econ\u00f3micos se incluye la visualizaci\u00f3n de un buen n\u00famero de retablos, actualmente desestructurados o perdidos, los cuales permiten ampliar de manera significativa el n\u00famero de referentes de tipo borrassiano. De otra parte, el an\u00e1lisis estil\u00edstico de la producci\u00f3n conocida bajo el nombre de llu\u00eds borrass\u00e1 ha permitido conocer algunas de las personalidades que intervinieron en el taller. en relaci\u00f3n con esta cuesti\u00f3n, el estudio de la fase inicial pict\u00f3rica de llu\u00eds borrass\u00e1 muestra su vinculaci\u00f3n con el arte mallorqu\u00edn m\u00e1s italianizante y el de la \u00faltima etapa art\u00edstica de lluis borrass\u00e1 revela los lazos entre este maestro y mateu ortoneda, lluc borrass\u00e1, perc sarreal, bernat despuig, francesc y jaume borrass\u00e1 s\u00ed como bernat martorell. El episodio final borrassiano favorece un nuevo per\u00edodo de continuidades y de cambios. en la parcela de los continuidades se han de situar un buen n\u00famero de artistas que agotaron el lenguaje m\u00e1s pr\u00f3ximo a llu\u00eds borrass\u00e1, entre los que cabe destacar el antiguo esclavo y bernat despuig, mientras que en la de las innovaciones se ha de tener presente el despuntar de bernat
