Esta investigaci\u00f3n se aborda desde una perspectiva experimental, a trav\u00e9s del estudio de aleaciones met\u00e1licas en que se observan transiciones estructurales de tipo martens\u00edtico y que, al mismo tiempo, presentan propiedades magn\u00e9ticas.  se ha estudiado tres familias de materiales, las cuales presentan un grado creciente de acoplamiento magneto-estructural: las aleaciones de cu-al-mn con memoria de forma, el compuesto de heusler ni2mnga y el compuesto invar fe3pt. Se han efectuado experimentos con variadas t\u00e9cnicas de medida (calorim\u00e9tricas, magn\u00e9ticas y difractom\u00e9tricas). Para profundizar en su comprensi\u00f3n, \u00e9stos han sido complementados con el estudio de distintos modelos mediante simulaciones de monte carlo. Tambi\u00e9n se ha formulado un modelo de landau para describir las propiedades del ni2mnga. Finalmente, cabe destacar que la realizaci\u00f3n de esta tesis ha dado lugar a la publicaci\u00f3n de quince art\u00edculos en revistas cient\u00edficas
