Adem\u00e1s se construye un programa de ordenador que, por medio de un interfaz gr\u00e1fico, permite simular una caldera de carb\u00f3n pulverizado de manera sencilla.  matem\u00e1ticamente, se trata de un problema de dos fases acopladas formado por ecuaciones diferenciales ordinarias y en derivadas parciales relativas a ambas fases: la s\u00f3lida y la gaseosa. La fase gaseosa establece las condiciones ambientales en las que se queman las part\u00edculas y la fase s\u00f3lida proporciona fuentes para la mezcla gaseosa.  para la fase gaseosa se considera un modelo euleriano mientras que para la fase s\u00f3lida se hace una descripci\u00f3n lagrangiana.  las ecuaciones de la fase s\u00f3lida forman el llamado modelo de combusti\u00f3n, asociado a las part\u00edculas de carb\u00f3n. Para ello se considera un modelo cin\u00e9tico simplificado formados por varias reacciones globales que tienen en cuenta la liberaci\u00f3n de la humedad, la liberaci\u00f3n y combusti\u00f3n de los
