Las 3-hidroxi-4-pironas y las 3-hidroxi-4-piridonas estudiadas reaccionan con el bencino en procesos 5+2 para dar lugar a compuestos con estructuras 8-oxabiciclo 3,2,1 octano y 8-azabiciclo 3,2,1 octano, respectivamente. Estas reaccionan posteriormente con una o dos mol\u00e9culas de bencino, dependiendo de su estructura, dando lugar a sistema polic\u00edclicos complejos. Las sales de pirilio estudiadas son inestables en las condiciones de reacci\u00f3n.  en la segunda parte se ha demostrado que los compuestos estir\u00e9nicos adecuadamente sustituidos reaccionan con el bencino en procesos 4+2 de forma regioselectiva, para formar compuestos fenantr\u00e9nicos. Este m\u00e9todo ha sido utilizado para la preparaci\u00f3n de la cefaradiona b y la n-metilaristo-lactama.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
