La administraci\u00f3n de los flavonoides rutina y quercitina contrarrest\u00f3 parcialmente las alteraciones en las enzimas s\u00e9ricas (alt, ast y fa), la esplenomegalia y las anomal\u00edas histol\u00f3gicas en ratas con obstrucci\u00f3n del conducto biliar. El fen\u00f3meno podr\u00eda relacionarse con su efecto antioxidante, puesto de manifiesto por la reducci\u00f3n de los niveles de tbars en el h\u00edgado y el aumento en la concentraci\u00f3n hep\u00e1tica de glutati\u00f3n. Previno parcialmente la disminuci\u00f3n hep\u00e1tica de citocromo p-450 y la reducci\u00f3n en la fluidez de la membrana micros\u00f3mica inducidas por la obstrucci\u00f3n del conducto biliar, este efecto se acompa\u00f1\u00f3 de modificaciones selectivas en diversas monooxigenasas dependientes del citrocromo p-450, produci\u00e9ndose tanto inhibiciones como estimulaciones en la actividad de las mismas. El estudio de la mutagenicidad de ambos flavonoides mediant el test de micron\u00facleos permite descartar la existencia de efectos mutag\u00e9nicos de la rutina.  estos podr\u00edan estar presentes en el caso de la quercitina, aunque a dosis muy superiores a las administradas en ratas con obstrucci\u00f3n del conducto biliar.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
