se pretende demostrar que en Madrid exist\u00edan unos espect\u00e1culos desde mediados del siglo xix que se los puede tachar de precinematogr\u00e1ficos y que comprenden todo lo relacionado a la \u00f3ptica, mec\u00e1nica y f\u00edsica recreativa que posteriormente culminar\u00e1 con la aparici\u00f3n del cinemat\u00f3grafo a finales del siglo xix.  para realizar esta investigaci\u00f3n ha sido necesario llevar a cabo una minuciosa b\u00fasqueda en archivos, tanto p\u00fablicos como privados, tanto de la comunidad de Madrid como del resto de espa\u00f1a; as\u00ed como rastrear bibliotecas y hemerotecas en donde apareciera informaci\u00f3n relacionada con esta investigaci\u00f3n.  por otro lado, esta tesis abarca s\u00f3lo los aspectos m\u00e1s relevantes e in\u00e9ditos que se puedan aportar a una arqueolog\u00eda de la imagen en movimiento, dejando de lado aspectos como, por ejemplo, la evoluci\u00f3n de la fotograf\u00eda o el teatro que se les puede considerar como antecesores del cine en su aportaci\u00f3n al soporte de la imagen y la representaci\u00f3n, quedando relegado estos campos como apoyo a futuras hip\u00f3tesis que fueran necesarias para la
