Para ello se dispusieron las siguientes series: de control (n=10), de operaci\u00f3n simulada (n=10), de supervivencia (n=100), y de evoluci\u00f3n patol\u00f3gica -alteraciones morfol\u00f3gicas y funcionales- (n=100). Los principales resultados obtenidos muestran como este m\u00e9todo ofrece una mortalidad del 87% a los 152 d\u00edas, debi\u00e9ndose la supervivencia del 13% restante al restablecimiento del flujo biliar por la presencia de colaterales; la colestasis cr\u00f3nica en la rata originaria, a partir de los 22 d\u00edas una cirrosis biliar secundaria, decrece la s\u00edntesis proteica hep\u00e1tica, mientras que la de triglic\u00e9ridos y de colesterol permanece, se alteran los mecanismos hep\u00e1ticos que contribuyen a la homeostasia de la glucosa, se produce el incremento propio del s\u00edndrome colest\u00e1sico de las actividades s\u00e9ricas fosfatasa alcalina y glut\u00e1mico pir\u00favico transaminasa; aparece ictericia obstructiva, permaneciendo la capacidad de conjugaci\u00f3n de la bilirrubina, no se altera la funci\u00f3n renal -s\u00edndrome hepatorrenal-; se manifiesta una activaci\u00f3n del sistema inmunitario; aparece hiponatremia e hipertensi\u00f3n
