Para esto, hemos estudiadio 1) la interacci\u00f3n del p\u00e9ptido atrial natriur\u00e9tico (anp), p\u00e9ptido cerebral natriur\u00e9tico (bnp) y p\u00e9ptido natriur\u00e9tico tipo c (cnp), con sus receptores (npra, nprb y nprc), as\u00ed como la proporci\u00f3n y localizaci\u00f3n de estos receptores en los procesos ciliares de rata; 2) el efecto de los p\u00e9ptidos natriur\u00e9ticos sobre la pio en conejos. Nuestros datos indican la presencia de los tres receptores, siendo el receptor nprc el receptor mayoritario en este tejido. Estos receptores est\u00e1n localizados tanto en el estroma como en el epitelio ciliar pigmentado y no pigmentado. Por otro lado, hemos demostrado que los p\u00e9ptidos natriur\u00e9ticos disminuyen la pio y estimulan la actividad guanilato ciclasa en los procesos ciliares de conejo, siendo el cnp el m\u00e1s potente de lostres p\u00e9ptidos. sint\u00e9tico del anp, espec\u00edfico del receptor nprc, incrementa casi tres veces los niveles basales de los p\u00e9ptidos natriur\u00e9ticos inmunorreactivos en el humor acuoso de conejo. Estos hallazgos demuestran la presencia de los receptores funcionales npra y nprb en el ojo de conejo y que el receptor nprc modula la concentraci\u00f3n de los p\u00e9ptidos natriur\u00e9ticos en el
