Gema <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Esta memoria de tesis doctoral recoge en dos cap\u00edtulos bien diferenciados algunos de los aspectos m\u00e1s significativos y recientes de la qu\u00edmica de heterociclos.  el primero de ellos recoge los resultados obtenidos en la s\u00edntesis asim\u00e9trica de 2-amino-4h-piranos altamente funcionalizados sustitu\u00eddos en c4 con grupos alquilo. la s\u00edntesis de estos compuestos se ha llevado a cabo mediante adici\u00f3n michael con control estereoqu\u00edmico por el sustrato y posterior o-ciclaci\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s de la forma en\u00f3lica del aducto obtenido. En este sentido, se han analizado ambas posibilidades, es decir; situar el inductor quiral en el aceptor michael (utilizando derivados quirales de \u00abdiacetona glucosa\u00bb) y situar el inductor quiral en el dador michael (utilizando beta-ceto sulf\u00f3xidos quirales).  por otro lado, el segundo cap\u00edtulo describe la s\u00edntesis de 2-(benciloxidindolil) alquilaminas. Estas se han dise\u00f1ado como posibles inhibidores de mao-a y mao-b. con este fin, y utilizando como estructura base la de 5-benciloxiindol se han realizado modificaciones en la longitud y ramificaci\u00f3n de la cadena aminoalqu\u00edlica del c2 del anillo ind\u00f3lico, as\u00ed como en el \u00e1tomo de nitr\u00f3geno del anillo del indol.
