Se divide en dos partes, la primera repasa (desde una perspectiva hist\u00f3rica) la tipolog\u00eda del objeto, sus usos y valores sem\u00e1nticos y culturales. la segunda analiza c\u00f3mo esos valores se han instalado en el espejo para dar lugar a obras de arte que reclaman la presencia humana para completarse, o bien se desvanecen o confunden los mecanismos perceptivos del espectador. El espejo se adapta bien a todas las tendencias, es susceptible a todas las formas novedosas ya que ninguna es definitiva. Su condici\u00f3n de superficie mutable y contingente encarna la absoluta libertad del arte, defini\u00e9ndose, en las tendencias m\u00e1s actuales, dentro del esquema de espejo vac\u00edo y espejo fragmentado.  la pantalla es la culminaci\u00f3n de un proceso que es expresado a trav\u00e9s de la dimensi\u00f3n temporal y su consiguiente manipulaci\u00f3n, resultando ser el producto de una saturaci\u00f3n ic\u00f3nica, y tambi\u00e9n la responsable de su banalizaci\u00f3n. ambos factores conducen a que espejo y pantalla se vuelvan entes vac\u00edos.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
