Dolores Castro Gonzalez <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Los iones met\u00e1licos hierro, zinc, cobalto, selenio, rubidio y cesio a concentraciones del orden de mug\/kg en \u00f3rganos de rata como h\u00edgado, ri\u00f1\u00f3n, p\u00e1ncreas, m\u00e9dula \u00f3sea, mucosa intestinal y estructuras cerebrales, han sido determinados por an\u00e1lisis de activaci\u00f3n neutr\u00f3nica, t\u00e9cnica de gran sensibilidadd y especificidad que permite su determinaci\u00f3n y caracterizaci\u00f3n con ayuda de t\u00e9cnicas radioqu\u00edmicas.  algunos elementos pesados, como el cadmio, son acumulativos en los organismos y tambi\u00e9n en los seres humanos, e inducen la s\u00edntesis de prote\u00ednas reguladoras de iones met\u00e1licos como la metalotione\u00edna, participando catal\u00edticamente en la homeostasis y actividades enzim\u00e1ticas.  la aplicaci\u00f3n de cadmio, metal pesado y de gran toxicidad, induce en la mayor\u00eda de los \u00f3rganos analizados a cambios en la distribuci\u00f3n y concentraci\u00f3n de algunosde los iones estudiados.  el estado an\u00e9mico alcanzado en las ratas tratadas con fenilhidrazina, t\u00f3xico que provoca una anemia principalmente hemol\u00edtica, se caracteriza porque la concentraci\u00f3n de los iones analizados por activaci\u00f3n neutr\u00f3nica se ve afectada, e implicadas tambi\u00e9n en su regulaci\u00f3n las estructuras cerebrales.
