Dos elementos esenciales componen nuestra tesis. en primer lugar, las herramientas utilizadas en esta labor cr\u00edtica-interpretativa, en este caso el espacio novelesco con todos sus variantes, y, en segundo lugar, el corpus al cual aplicamos la teor\u00eda, en este caso, las tres primeras obras de la autora, escritas entre los a\u00f1os 1957 y 1974. las razones de elecci\u00f3n del m\u00e9todo cr\u00edtico utilizado se debe a su car\u00e1cter renovador en relaci\u00f3n con los m\u00e9todos utilizados por la cr\u00edtica como modo de acercamiento a la obra de la autora. La coherencia entre las tres primeras obras, por pertenecer al mismo per\u00edodo hist\u00f3rico constituye la raz\u00f3n de su elecci\u00f3n como corpus al cual aplicaremos el m\u00e9todo interpretativo.  la tesis se divide en dos partes. primeramente, una parte dedicada al comentario de algunas bases metodol\u00f3gicas. En ella exponemos detalladamente las m\u00e1s c\u00e9lebres teor\u00edas cr\u00edticas sobre el espacio narrativo. Tambi\u00e9n dedicaremos un cap\u00edtulo a la explicaci\u00f3n del estado en que se encuentran los estudios cr\u00edticos sobre carmen mart\u00edn gaite con el fin de justificar el por qu\u00e9 de la elecci\u00f3n de la autora, del corpus de obras elegido, del per\u00edodo hist\u00f3rico&#8230;  en segundo lugar, la segunda parte de la tesis se divide, a su vez, en cap\u00edtulos, cada uno de los cuales se dedica a la interpretaci\u00f3n concienzuda de cada una de las obras elegidas. Esta parte dedicada al recurrido hermen\u00e9utico compone el n\u00facleo de la tesis.  una vez aplicado el an\u00e1lisis a entre visillos, ritmo lento y retah\u00edlas, se dar\u00e1 en el \u00faltimo
