A trav\u00e9s del an\u00e1lisis de la literatura art\u00edstica del per\u00edodo, en especial de la tratad\u00edstica arquitect\u00f3nica, se perciben las influencias rec\u00edprocas entre las manifestaciones art\u00edsticas y esc\u00e9nicas. Para obtener una visi\u00f3n completa del proceso, se han manejado otras fuentes importantes: dram\u00e1ticas, narrativas, po\u00e9ticas y filos\u00f3ficas; as\u00ed como relaciones de fiestas y ceremonias. Se trata, por tanto de una investigaci\u00f3n cuya metodolog\u00eda sigue un criterio interdisciplinar y comparativo.  el estudio ha sido desarrollado por pa\u00edses: italia, francia, inglaterra, alemania, pa\u00edses bajos y espa\u00f1a. En cada uno de ellos se parte del an\u00e1lisis de la teor\u00eda, para continuar estableciendo las relaciones entre la arquitectura y las artes pl\u00e1sticas con el teatro. La parte m\u00e1s extensa es la dedicada a espa\u00f1a.
