Kant representa el primer momento de la ruptura del modo de entender la raz\u00f3n que el racionalismo moderno hab\u00eda inaugurado al situar la racionalidad en la que captamos el mundo en el sujeto y proclamar la incognoscibilidad de la cosa en s\u00ed, con lo cual no pod\u00eda excluirse la arracionalidad de \u00e9sta. Schopenhauer supone el segundo momento del proceso, se pronuncia abiertamente por la arracionalidad de la cosa en s\u00ed que es voluntad, pero se mantiene todav\u00eda fiel a la m\u00e1s rigurosa tradici\u00f3n plat\u00f3nico-cristiana en la valoraci\u00f3n negativa de la vida; la raz\u00f3n, parece sugerir, est\u00e1 legitimada para hacer esa valoraci\u00f3n, que es una valoraci\u00f3n moral, por lo que la \u00fanica salida ser\u00e1 el promover su negaci\u00f3n y, en \u00faltimo extremo, su autoabolici\u00f3n; de ah\u00ed el car\u00e1cter tr\u00e1gico-negativo de su filosof\u00eda. Nietzsche significa el tercer momento, asume, siguiendo a schopenhauer, la arracionalidad de la voluntad y saca todas las consecuencias que de esta tesis se siguen: la raz\u00f3n es s\u00f3lo y nada m\u00e1s que un instrumento al servicio de la voluntad, su tarea no es promover su negaci\u00f3n, sino su afirmaci\u00f3n plena, de ah\u00ed el programa dionisiaco en el arte y el de la umwertung en la moral que preludian una cultura y una \u00e9poca, en su opini\u00f3n, verdaderamente nuevas.  desde ese presupuesto, y en la pretensi\u00f3n de mostrar que en ella se cumple, se expone la filosof\u00eda de schopenhauer estructurada en torno a cuatro cap\u00edtulos: cap\u00edtulo i: schopenhauer y la filosof\u00eda de kant (aqu\u00ed se establece el sentido en el que schopenhauer es,
