La instalaci\u00f3n dispone de elementos de medida y control de las variables de inter\u00e9s, as\u00ed como de equipos de generaci\u00f3n de nieblas y de gas trazador -hexafluoruro de azufre-, para la determinaci\u00f3n cuantitativa de la eficacia de captura de los sistemas de ventilaci\u00f3n citados.  para evaluar la eficacia de captaci\u00f3n de los sistemas de ventilaci\u00f3n en ba\u00f1os se describen tres metodolog\u00edas. La primera consiste en la emisi\u00f3n de niebla desde la superficie del ba\u00f1o o a trav\u00e9s de la impulsi\u00f3n, cuando se utiliza el sistema combinado, permitiendo visualizar el comportamiento de las corrientes implicadas. Los otros procedimientos, que utilizan gas trazador, son cuantitativos, permitiendo determinar la eficacia total y la denominada eficacia lineal transversal. Se establece la relaci\u00f3n entre los dos tipos de eficacias, tanto anal\u00edtica como gr\u00e1ficamente, y se demuestra su idoneidad para detectar donde se producen las emisiones de contaminantes asi como la cuantificaci\u00f3n de las mismas. Para el sistema de captaci\u00f3n lateral se plantean dos nuevos modelos anal\u00edticos exponenciales que permiten relacionar las variables significativas que influyen en la eficacia de captura para ba\u00f1os que operan a temperatura ambiente o superior.  respecto al sistema de ventilaci\u00f3n combinado por impulsi\u00f3n-aspiraci\u00f3n se ha determinado que la zona del choque de los chorros contra el ba\u00f1o, de reorganizaci\u00f3n del flujo de pared y el acceso a la aspiraci\u00f3n resultan cr\u00edticas en cuanto a las p\u00e9rdidas de contaminantes. Para este \u00faltimo sistema se estudia la influencia de la geometr\u00eda y se optimiza, recomend\u00e1ndose adem\u00e1s los caudales de operaci\u00f3n para obtener eficacias iguales o superiores al
