En el primer cap\u00edtulo se estudia el efecto del factor de crecimiento tgf beta1 sobre la diferenciaci\u00f3n y proliferaci\u00f3n de los melanocitos b16 en cultivo. Los datos presentados sugieren un papel espec\u00edfico de control negativo sobre la diferenciaci\u00f3n. este factor podr\u00eda desempe\u00f1ar un papel en el control post-traduccional de las enzimas tirosinasa y trp-1. Adem\u00e1s el tgf beta1 podr\u00eda participar en un bucle de regulaci\u00f3n autocrino adem\u00e1s de ejercer una regulaci\u00f3n paracrina de la diferenciaci\u00f3n del melanocito.  en el segundo cap\u00edtulo se estudia el efecto del factor de necrosis tumoral alfa (tnf) sobre la diferenciaci\u00f3n y proliferaci\u00f3n de las c\u00e9lulas b16. Este factor act\u00faa a nivel transcripcional, reduciendo los niveles de arnm de tirosinasa y trp-1 y post-transcripcional sobre la estabilidad de estas prote\u00ednas, lo que reduce sus niveles intracelulares y por tanto las actividades que catalizan, tirosina hidroxilasa y dopa oxidasa.  en el tercer cap\u00edtulo se estudia el efecto de las dos citoquinas anteriores sobre los productos derivados del locus silver. Dicho locus cifra productos g\u00e9nicos con una funci\u00f3n importante en el control de la melanog\u00e9nesis, y pertenecen a una familia distinta a la de tirosinasa. Existen dos niveles de regulaci\u00f3n para este locus, uno transcripcional y otro post-traduccional, y el patr\u00f3n parece diferente al descrito para los genes de la familia de tirosinasa.  finalmente, en el cap\u00edtulo cuarto, se presentan resultados que indican que ninguno de los dos factores estudiados, tgf beta 1 y tnf alfa, parecen interferir con la respuesta de los melanocitos a
