Para ello, se ha tenido que recurrir a dos campos de conocimiento, el marketing y la direccion estrategica, con el fin de determinar las variables y la metodolog\u00eda mas adecuada para identificar los grupos estrategicos, en un sector caracterizado por estar integrado por empresas que realizan funciones propias de los canales de distribucion.  de la aplicacion del analisis estadistico cluster a la informacion obtenida en el trabajo de campo, se pudieron determinar seis grupos estrategicos que a continuacion pasamos a relacionar: (ge 1) estrategia de diversificacion en el producto y en el precio, (ge 2) estrategia de especializacion en productos relativamente afectados por la estacionalidad y con bajo nivel de riesgo, (ge 3) estrategia de diferenciacion de productos muy condicionados por la moda y de alto nivel de precios, (ge 4) estrategia de especializacion y diferenciacion en productos de alto nivel de precios con largos ciclos de vida, (ge 5) estrategia de diversificacion intermedia en productos de moda de nivel de precios medio-bajo y (ge 6) estrategia de diferenciacion en productos muy condicionados por la moda con un nivel de precios
