Ante esta situaci\u00f3n, este trabajo trata de explicitar en general cu\u00e1les son los problemas m\u00e1s importantes de los grupos y qu\u00e9 se necesita para superarlos. A la vez, se analiza el papel de los sistemas de apoyo a grupos en el empleo real de grupos. La metodolog\u00eda utilizada se basa en una combinaci\u00f3n de dise\u00f1os experimentales y t\u00e9cnicas cualitativas, puesto que se han investigado grupos en organizaciones reales. Las principales conclusiones son: las t\u00e9cnicas manuales de ayuda a grupos no tienen el potencial de conseguir un empleo real de los mismos; en cuanto a los sistemas electr\u00f3nicos, s\u00ed tienen el potencial de convertir a los grupos en eficaces, eficientes y conseguir la satisfacci\u00f3n de sus componentes, sin embargo, la clave es el adecuado dise\u00f1o de la organizaci\u00f3n y la correcta administraci\u00f3n de grupos, factores que denominamos \u00abcontexto organizacional\u00bb. En pocas palabras, los sistemas de apoyo a grupos est\u00e1n en condiciones de convertir a los grupos en una alternativa factible, siendo su principal requisito el dise\u00f1o de un adecuado contexto
