El patr\u00f3n espacial de distribuci\u00f3n de la actividad econ\u00f3mica se analiza a la luz de la hip\u00f3tesis de la regionalizaci\u00f3n, enunciada por distintos estudios de los procesos espaciales de localizaci\u00f3n. La tesis presenta evidencia emp\u00edrica sobre la din\u00e1mica de la concentraci\u00f3n y dispersi\u00f3n de la actividad industrial en el seno de la econom\u00eda espa\u00f1ola, para el periodo 1964-1975 y, para una etapa m\u00e1s avanzada, cuantifica indirectamente la incidencia de los costes de transporte en el grado de interacci\u00f3n espacial de las regiones espa\u00f1olas, a trav\u00e9s de una ecuaci\u00f3n de gravedad. A la luz de estos resultados, la tesis propone una interpretaci\u00f3n de la din\u00e1mica espacial de la econom\u00eda espa\u00f1ola y del alcance de las pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas de transporte en
