La teor\u00eda del micromagnetismo describe el comportamiento de los materiales a trav\u00e9s de la interacci\u00f3n entre sus propiedades intr\u00ednsecas y su microestructura, y constituye el formalismo adecuado para estudiar procesos de magnetizaci\u00f3n en dicha escala. En este trabajo se ha desarrollado un modelo micromagn\u00e9tico que ha permitido estudiar procesos de magnetizaci\u00f3n en sistemas con distintas caracter\u00edsticas.  en el primer cap\u00edtulo se presentan los fundamentos te\u00f3ricos del micromagnetismo, mientras que en el segundo se abordan las cuestiones relativas a la resoluci\u00f3n num\u00e9rica de las ecuaciones micromagn\u00e9ticas, poniendo especial \u00e9nfasis en los m\u00e9todos de minimizaci\u00f3n de la energ\u00eda y llevando a cabo una caracterizaci\u00f3n de los problemas \u00abstiff\u00bb. En el tercer cap\u00edtulo estudiamos distintos procesos de magnetizaci\u00f3n: en primer lugar, el ciclo de hist\u00e9resis de una pel\u00edcula delgada siguiendo las especificaciones del problema standard n 2, encontrando un acuerdo notable con el resto de los grupos. A continuaci\u00f3n, investigamos la formaci\u00f3n de dominios de punta en torno a inclusiones no magn\u00e9ticas, obteniendo configuraciones que conectan directamente con observaciones experimentales y resultados de la teor\u00eda de dominios. Seguidamente, se estudia la interacci\u00f3n entre paredes e inclusiones y se eval\u00faa la contribuci\u00f3n magnetost\u00e1tica a la coercitividad. Por \u00faltimo, se investiga la posibilidad de almacenar informaci\u00f3n en sistemas peri\u00f3dicos de \u00abantidots\u00bb, encontrando que es un sistema muy prometedor como soporte para
