Teresa <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Para la realizacion de este trabajo se escogio el hongo filamentoso aspergillus nidulans como microorganismo modelo para el estudio de la produccion de xilanasas.  estos enzimas son los principales responsables de la hidrolisis del xilano que es el segundo polisacarido mas abundante de la pared celular vegetal despues de la celulosa. En primer lugar se optimizo la produccion de xilanasas. Como resultado de estos estudios se puede concluir que las condiciones optimas de secrecion de xilanasas en a. Nidulans se dan al crecer este microorganismo a 37 c. En medio minimo de aspergillus a ph 6.8 y con xilano de avena al 1% (p\/v) como fuente de carbono y casaminoacidos al 0.5% como fuente de nitrogeno. Por tecnicas de zimografia se detectaron 3 xilanasas de 22000, 24000 y 34000 daltons que se denominaron x22, x24 y x34 respectivamente. Las tres xilanasas fueron purificadas a homogeneidad y se determinaron sus propiedades fisico-quimicas y funcionales. Por ultimo, estudios de regulacion mostraron que los mayores niveles de induccion se obtienen con arabinoxilano de trigo y xilano de avena. Ademas, la xilanasa x24 es la unica de las tres xilanasas que no esta reprimida por grucosa.
