Tambi\u00e9n se analiza la actividad inquisitorial de fray antonio (pp. 1-31). Seguidamente, se analizan y comentan cada una de sus obras de manera sucinta (pp. 32-89). La tesis sigue con un pormenorizado estudio del uso de los exempla, basado en una selecci\u00f3n de textos del menosprecio (pp. 90-146). A dicho estudio se le a\u00f1ade una secci\u00f3n dedicada a descubrir la relaci\u00f3n existente entre el estilo de guevara y los recursos r\u00edtmicos de car\u00e1cter isocr\u00e1tico que formaban el gusto de la aristocracia palaciega en el s. Xvi. La porci\u00f3n comprendida entre las pp. 183 y 236 se dedica al estudio de las ep\u00edstolas familiares. Tambi\u00e9n se estudian las relaciones de la obra de fray antonio de guevara con las literaturas europeas m\u00e1s importantes, especialmente las que guarda con el renacimiento italiano y con el eufismo ingl\u00e9s. Finalmente, se exponen los fundamentos explicativos de los te\u00f3ricos que se han preocupado de guevara y nuestras conclusiones, seguidas de la bibliograf\u00eda y un \u00edndice
