El interes de la investigacion es doble: por su caracter cientifico, ya que avanza en la comprension de los mecanismos del fenomeno fisico planteado, y por su caracter ingenieril, ya que se consigue simular matematicamente situaciones reales con vistas a predecir las consecuencias hidraulico-sedimentologicas de determinadas modificaciones proyectadas (encauzamientos), o de acontecimientos que no
