Debido a la gran cantidad de informaci\u00f3n generada en el proceso de an\u00e1lisis, as\u00ed como a que el estudio de estos datos se realiza a partir de conocimiento heur\u00edstico, se hace patente la necesidd de utilizar t\u00e9cnicas de inteligencia artificial. La segunda fase de la metodolog\u00eda consiste en el desarrollo de un sistema basado en el conocimiento (sbc) para la ayuda a la toma de decisiones en la gerencia hospitalaria.
