La adquisici\u00f3n de la estructura tridimensional de algunas prote\u00ednas requiere la mediaci\u00f3n de otras prote\u00ednas denominadas chaperonas moleculares. Entre las prote\u00ednas que necesitan la ayuda de las chaperonas moleculares se encuentra la tubulina, la subunidad estructural y funcional del microt\u00fabulo. este trabajo pretende profundizar en el estudio del plegamiento de la tubulina y caracterizar el papel de la prote\u00edna p14 o cofactor a, primer cofactor identificado que participa en el proceso de plegamiento de tubulinas \u00abin vitro\u00bb.  los resultados obtenidos en el estudio de la relaci\u00f3n estructura-funci\u00f3n de la prote\u00edna p14 indican que \u00e9sta forma complejos estables con la b-tubulina y que la interacci\u00f3n se produce a trav\u00e9s de 3 regiones de la p14.
