Rosario <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>La interpretaci\u00f3n de los niveles de xenobi\u00f3ticos hallados en muestras biol\u00f3gicas de casos cl\u00ednicos toxicol\u00f3gicos o forenses es a\u00fan complicada. Las tablas de concentraciones de referencia existentes son insuficientes y contradictorias. El objetivo de esta tesis doctoral es la elaboraci\u00f3n de una tabla de concentraciones de referencia que sirva de gu\u00eda para la interpretaci\u00f3n de los an\u00e1lisis cuantitativos en muestras de pacientes vivos o de cad\u00e1veres. Se revisan y recopilan los datos publicados sobre niveles de t\u00f3xicos en muestras biol\u00f3gicas humanas, as\u00ed como los valores hallados en an\u00e1lisis realizados en el servicio de qu\u00edmica del instituto nacional de toxicolog\u00eda de sevilla, por sospecha de intoxicaci\u00f3n. Se efect\u00faa un an\u00e1lisis pormenorizado de los datos y su selecci\u00f3n hasta obtener los niveles m\u00e1s representativos. Como complemento, se consideran las intoxicaciones consultadas al servicio de informaci\u00f3n toxicol\u00f3gica de tal instituto y los casos en los que interpret\u00f3 an\u00e1lisis cuantitativos. Los niveles y matrices seleccionados se presentan en forma de tabla con las concentraciones normales, habituales o terap\u00e9uticas, t\u00f3xicas, y letales o postmortem, de 846 xenobi\u00f3ticos en sangre total, suero o plasma y orina. Se discute sobre las dificultades para conseguir fiabilidad en los datos, y se considera c\u00f3mo aplicar la tabla. A causa de las innumerables variables que pueden influir en los niveles, los datos no deben tomarse como valores absolutos ni interpretarse de forma aislada.
