Se estudia la obra de willa cather como un ejemplo modernista de la literatura dom\u00e9stica que practicaron escritoras norteamericanas en la segunda mitad del s. Xix y que en gran medida sintetiza la obra de sarah orne jewett. La linealidad del argumento aristot\u00e9lico, propia de patrones literarios realistas y patriarcales, se rompe a trav\u00e9s de distintas estrategias (manipulaci\u00f3n temporal y del punto de vista, ruptura estructural, el uso de historias insertadas, descentralizaci\u00f3n tem\u00e1tica, estilo impresionista y simb\u00f3lico&#8230;) dirigidas a profundizar en el dialogo entre fragmentaci\u00f3n y fluidez, arte y sociedad, e individuo y colectividad, en la negaci\u00f3n de significados absolutos y \u00fanicos, en la reivindicaci\u00f3n del pensamiento imaginativo sobre la raz\u00f3n l\u00f3gica&#8230; Estas novelas tambi\u00e9n corrigen e interrogan los convencionalismos de g\u00e9neros y arquetipos literarios y sexuales.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la
