Con \u00e9stas es posible modificar tanto la potencia de la c\u00f3rnea como la del cristalino. Por este motivo, existe un reciente inter\u00e9s en la caracterizaci\u00f3n de la calidad \u00f3ptica del ojo, no s\u00f3lo en su conjunto, sino tambi\u00e9n en el estudio de la calidad que cada una de las partes del mismo proporcionan por separado.  en la actualidad, existen varios m\u00e9todos para evaluar la mtf global del sistema \u00f3ptico del ojo. Sin embargo, no existe ning\u00fan m\u00e9todo propuesto que permita analizar de forma directa la mtf de las diferentes partes del mismo.  en este trabajo, se pretende, a partir de los datos objetivos de superficie corneal y del conocimiento de la calidad \u00f3ptica global del sistema \u00f3ptico del ojo, desarrollar una t\u00e9cnica para derivar la mtf de los medios oculares.  este m\u00e9todo no invasivo permitir\u00e1 numerosas aplicaciones cl\u00ednicas. Tales como la determinaci\u00f3n in vivo de la calidad \u00f3ptica de las lentes intraoculares una vez han sido implantadas en el ojo, estudio de la calidad \u00f3ptica tras cualquier tipo de cirug\u00eda reactiva.
