Se obtuvieron ves\u00edculas de membrana plasm\u00e1tica invertidas y totalmente funcionales, ves\u00edculas de secreci\u00f3n con sus propiedades celulares intactas.  una vez desarrollado un m\u00e9todo para detectar la mezcla de contenidos entre estos dos compartimentos, se pusieron en contacto con citosol para reproducir el medio intracelular, y en las condiciones adecuadas, se pudo comprobar la transferencia de un marcador desde las ves\u00edculas de secreci\u00f3n a las de membrana plasm\u00e1tica.
