D. Elvira repetto talavera, forma parte de una linea de investigacion que se viene realizando en el departamento de metodos de investigacion y diagnostico en educacion de la uned, centrada en la orientacion metacognitiva en un programa de aprendizaje mediado. La tesis plantea el dise\u00f1o experimental y la aplicacion del programa omecol, constituido por una serie de estrategias de metacomprension lectora, intentando investigar si el entrenamiento en dichas estrategias influye en el rendimiento en las ciencias sociales de los alumnos de 2 y 3 de egb. El programa fue aplicado a alumnos de las comunidades autonomas de andalucia, cantabria y galicia, y la investigacion recoge el planteamiento de los problemas que se pretenden solucionar y las hipotesis que se pretenden demostrar.
