Coli a los medios acu\u00e1ticos implica la entrada en un ambiente hostil en el que inicia un proceso de supervivencia. las variaciones fisiol\u00f3gicas que experimenta e. Coli durante su permanencia en estos ambientes host\u00edles dan lugar a la formaci\u00f3n de una serie de subpoblacionescuya importancia cuantitativa var\u00eda a lo largo del tiempo. El proceso de supervivencia finaliza con la muerte celular que acontece con la p\u00e9rdida del nucleoide.  la presencia de los pl\u00e1smidos no altera la supervivencia de las cepas portadoras, y tanto las c\u00e9lulas cultivables como las viables mantienen la capacidad de expresar genes plasm\u00eddicos. la transferencia de pl\u00e1smidos desciende durante la supervivencia, siendo la capacidad de recibir y expresar material plasm\u00eddico menos sensible a las situaciones de estr\u00e9s que la capacidad de donar los pl\u00e1smidos. La transferencia de pl\u00e1smidos en situaciones de estr\u00e9s contribuye eficazmente al incremento de cepas portadoras de pl\u00e1smidos en los sistemas acu\u00e1ticos naturales y en las aguas residuales.  las radiaciones luminosas afectan negativamente a la supervivencia. Hemos detectado relaci\u00f3n entre la sensibilidad a uv-c, recuperaci\u00f3n de e.
