Los diversos par\u00e1metros de red se han obtenido mediante an\u00e1lisis mec\u00e1nico a partir de medidas de tensi\u00f3n (compresi\u00f3n)-deformaci\u00f3n. La calorimetr\u00eda diferencial de barrido ha sido la t\u00e9cnica utilizada para determinar los distintos tipos de agua presentes en el hidrogel.  el grado de hinchamiento en el equilibrio y el contenido de agua libre disminuyen cuando aumenta la cantidad de mma en el hidrogel, cuando aumenta el porcentaje de agente entrecruzante y a medida que disminuye el tama\u00f1o del sustituyente lateral. Para estos mismos casos tanto el m\u00f3dulo de young, e, como el de compresi\u00f3n, g, muestran la tendencia contraria. Se han calculado tambi\u00e9n las magnitudes termodin\u00e1micas (entalp\u00eda, entrop\u00eda y energ\u00eda libre de gibbs molares parciales) para estos tres sistemas de hidrogeles a partir de
