Realizamos un muestreo aleatorio estratificado proporcional entre los trabajadores sanitarios del hospital clinico universitario lozano blesa de zaragoza. El nivel de confianza se fij\u00f3 en 95,44% (p&lt;0,05, n = 334). Instrumentos empleados: 1. Encuesta sociodemogr\u00e1fica, 2. Indice de satisfacci\u00f3n laboral global, 3. Escala de prioridades, 4. Maslach burnout inventory, (maslach y jackson, 1984), 5. Job descriptive index (smith, kendall y hulin, 1969), 6. Escalas de adaptaci\u00f3n familiar y social para adultos de bell, 7. Cuestionario de salud general (ghq-28 de goldberg, 1970) y 8. Cuestionario de ambiguedad de rol. Resultados: el 56% de los trabajadores sanitarios se mostraron satisfechos con su trabajo. Los trabajadores satisfechos no presentaban malestar ps\u00edquico significativo, mientras que los que hac\u00edan un balance de neutro o insatisfecho presentaban malestar ps\u00edquico y mayores niveles de burnout. Se obtuvieron para el total de la muestra unos niveles moderados de agotamiento emocional, una baja despersonalizaci\u00f3n y una muy baja estima o realizaci\u00f3n profesional. La preValencia del s\u00edndrome de burnout se situ\u00f3 en torno al 17%. La satisfacci\u00f3n con los aspectos intr\u00ednsecos del trabajo result\u00f3 ser el factor que con mayor fuerza protege del s\u00edndrome de burnout (correlaci\u00f3n r de pearson &gt; 0,60). La satisfacci\u00f3n con los superiores y con los compa\u00f1eros tambi\u00e9n se asoci\u00f3 de manera significativa con un menor agotamiento emocional. un 48% de los trabajadores afirm\u00f3 no recibir suficiente informaci\u00f3n sobre los contenidos de sutrabajo y un 72% calific\u00f3 de insuficiente la informaci\u00f3n que recibe sobre los resultados del trabajo.
