Se preparan electrodos de fieltro de carbono que se comportan como un conjunto de microelectrodos, estos electrodos tambi\u00e9n se modifican con pel\u00edculas de 3,4-didroxibenzaldehido. Estos electrodos modificados presentan un fuerte efecto electrocatal\u00edtico en la oxidaci\u00f3n del nadh.  adem\u00e1s se estudian un segundo grupo de compuestos, los complejos del ligando 1,10fenantrolina,5-6diona con metales de transici\u00f3n. Estos compuestos una vez electrodepositados sobre electrodos de carbon v\u00edtreo presentan un fuerte efecto eelectrocatal\u00edtico en la oxidaci\u00f3n de nadh. Combinando estos electrodos modificados con membranas de nylon sobre las que se ha inmovilizado alcohol deshidrogenasa se desarrollan biosensores para la determinaci\u00f3n de etanol. Estos permiten determinaciones de etanol a nivel de micromoles lo que los hace \u00fatiles para la determinaci\u00f3n de este analito en sangre.
