En el rastreo de una genoteca de expresi\u00f3n de adnc de la l\u00ednea linfobl\u00e1stica jurkat mediante la utilizaci\u00f3n de sueros de pacientes chag\u00e1sicos hemos aislado 2 clones, 7.1.2 y 9.1.2. Elclon 9.1.2 corresponde a un nuevo gen al que denominamos cha 9.1.2. dicho gen es de copia \u00fanica y muestra una expresi\u00f3n tisular ubicua. Los ensayos de expresi\u00f3n demuestran que codifica dos prote\u00ednas: cha 912 (34 kda) y cir (20 kda). Hemos determinado el epitopo de cir reconocido tanto en la enfermedad natural (humanos) como en la experimental (ratones). Dicho epitopo r3 muestra un 100% de especificidad y una sensibilidad del 88%, lo que sugiere su pontencial como marcador de diagn\u00f3stico de la enfermedad de chagas. Por otra parte, cha 912 y cir muestran un motivo de uni\u00f3n a adn, del tipo bhlh, mediante el cual ambas prote\u00ednas heterodimerizan con usf en la uni\u00f3n a una secuencia \u00abe-box\u00bb del promotor de cd2. Cha 912 regula negativamente la transcripci\u00f3n de los genes grk2 y cd2 cuyos promotores poseen secuencias \u00abe-boxes\u00bb. Por \u00faltimo, hemos determinado que la expresi\u00f3n de cha 912 disminuye tras la activaci\u00f3n de linfocito t.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
